Circle for Children, Atlanta, GA

• Hospitality Co-Chairman – responisbile for selecting restaurant sites and logistics for quarterly meetings.
• Non-profit women’s club benefitting needy children’s organizations.

Phoenix Society, Atlanta, GA

• Traditional debutante charitable organization, which presents service and hospitality oriented women into the Atlanta community.
• Worked at the Shepherd Spinal Center with paralyzed patients during their physical rehabilitation, assisted at the Peachtree Road Race for handicapped racers and managed a post celebration at the hospital.
• Coordinated special events throughout the début season and am a current member of the Society.

Domestic Violence Awareness, Auburn, AL

• Supported my social sorority (Alpha Chi Omega) in its national philanthropy, Domestic Violence Awareness.
• Coordinated and hosted a campus-wide dodgeball tournament to raise funds for a local women's shelter, Safe Harbor.
• Arranged for a guest speaker to share her personal testimony regarding domestic violence for a Panhellenic event, which preceded a candle-light service in memory of victims.
• Created awareness through specially designed t-shirts and pins, ads on Auburn's mass-transit system and a "Walk-a-Buddy" campaign.

Faith-based Efforts

• Disciple-Now leader for my hometown church in an effort to assist middle and high school students in their spiritual journeys.
• Adopted families during Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays by providing dinners and gifts.
• Participated in Church on the Street's nightly walks to offer blankets to individuals in need.
• Served the homeless by preparing and providing breakfast at Eagle's Nest, an inner-city Atlanta church.
